Getting Started with OrderPort
This list of lessons is specially designed to make sure you have confidence working with the OrderPort system. You will learn everything you need to know to run your business, including how to create and manage wine clubs, using OrderPort’s reporting system, and sending out marketing campaigns.

Users Module
The OrderPort Users module is where you can manage the accounts that can login to OrderPort admin and the Point of Sale. The module is where you create accounts and configure their permissions.

Creating a Wine Club
Creating a Wine Club is a key step in getting started with OrderPort. Wine Clubs are created in OrderPort admin.

Wine Club Types
There are six types of wine clubs you can choose from: Customer Choice, Winemaker Selects, Case, Tiered Case, Allocation, and Subscription clubs. This lesson covers those types.

The OrderPort Customers module is where you view, manage, and create accounts for your customers. Customer accounts are important for the function of wine clubs, marketing, shipping, and more.

Sales Tax & Licenses Module
The Sales Tax & Licenses module includes important configuration options related to sales tax. It is also the module where you set up your shipping licenses in order to start with shipping orders in OrderPort.

Contactless Checkout Setting
In the point of sale, there is a setting available to customize when the tip is requested for: before, or after the card is read. This setting is labeled as the contactless checkout setting.

Free tastings allow you to give customers complimentary tastings based on their customer class. These free tastings are tracked with OrderPort’s Free Tasting Tracker, which is managed in OrderPort admin and can be viewed in the Point of Sale.

This lesson covers the setup process of point of sale printers. These printers can be kitchen, bar, and receipt printers.

Modifier Setup for OPR

You can create new customer accounts from the Point of Sale. This allows you to track order history and save cards on file, among other things.

If your wine club allows customers to pick up their releases, this can be processed from the Point of Sale.

If a wine club customer would like to pick up their club release prior to the release date, the POS offers features to create a wine club order and prevent them from being included twice in the club release.
