Klaviyo is a marketing service that allows you to create custom email campaigns to reach your customers. The integration transfers information like customer contacts into Klaviyo. You must have an account with Klaviyo to use the integration.
The integration is enabled in the Marketing Module of OrderPort Admin.
Page Contents
Navigating to the Marketing Module
Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard page, and you will find the Operations option. Click Marketing.
You can also hover over the three lines toward the top right of the dashboard page.
The Marketing module is under the Operations column.
Please note that the Klaviyo integration does not work with the legacy Marketing Module. If your marketing module looks different than the screenshots provided here, please see the New Marketing Module Overview document.
Proceed to the Settings tab of the Marketing module.
At the bottom left of the page, you will find the Marketing integrations section. Turn on the Klaviyo integration, then save.
Getting the API Key
To proceed, you will need to create an API key in Klaviyo to enter into OrderPort.
On a new tab, go to the Klaviyo dashboard. At the bottom left of the page, click on your account and select Settings.
Go to the API Keys section, then select click the Create Private API Key button.
Next, name the key OrderPort. We recommend the Full Access Key option to ensure the integration works. On the top right, click Create.
Copy the key that was generated, then return to the OrderPort Marketing Module.
Entering the API Key to OrderPort
Go to the Third Party tab. Here, paste the API Key you just generated and enter it into the Settings.
Click Save.
Integration Sync Information
If you want to have access to customer purchase history within Klaviyo, turn on the Sync OrderPort Catalog and Orders with Klaviyo option.
Catalog updates take two days to update within Klaviyo. Orders will sync in 30 minutes.
Before running campaigns in Klaviyo, you should ensure that the information is up to date. A sync is triggered whenever the Marketing module is opened on OrderPort. The sync is completed overnight. For bigger customer lists, it may take longer. You can check when the last sync occurred here in the Third Party tab.
