This lesson covers how to fulfill wine club pickup orders early from the Point of Sale.
If a wine club customer would like to pick up their club release prior to the release date, the POS offers features to create a wine club order and prevent them from being included twice in the club release.
Fulfilling Club Pickup Orders Early
Once logged into the Point of Sale, go to the Account page. Use the customer search button to open your club member’s account.

Next, tap on Customer Details. Under the Club Memberships section, tap on the club.

Next, set the on-hold date to after the release. This will ensure they won’t be charged again for the same release, but it will also ensure they will be added back to the club for future releases. You should also enable Retain Privileges to maintain their club discounts.

When it asks you if you’d like to cancel the pending wine club order, tap Yes.

Next, start an order for your customer and recreate wine club release cart. In checkout, tap the Source button to make the order a club order.

Now, you can use any payment method to complete the order.
