Navigating to Standard Reports
The Reports module is in OrderPort Admin. Go to orderport.net to login.
Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard page, and you will find the Operations option. Click Reports.
You can also hover over the three lines toward the top right of the dashboard page.
The Reports module is under the Operations column.
Next, go to the Standard Reports section.
Business Summary (Sales)
The first report highlight is the Business Summary report. This is in the Sales tab of Standard Reports. This gives you a summary of your business for any time period you enter. In addition, it can export to a PDF so that you can quickly print it off.
The report has relevant information like sales, tips, payments, and refunds. At the bottom of the report, you will notice a legend to help you interpret the information displayed in this report.
Reconciliation (Sales)
The next report, also in the Sales Reports tab, is the reconciliation report. This report is useful for accounting and verifying your payments.
Sales Tax (Compliance)
The next report is in the Compliance tab, the Sales Tax report.
With this report, you can view the sales tax numbers by state, county, and city. You can also choose to filter down what you see based on the state.
Customer Loyalty (Marketing)
The next report is in the Marketing tab, the Customer Loyalty report.
This report enables you to build very personalized marketing lists. For example, if you wanted to send a promotional email to customers who purchased a specific type of product, you can create that here. Use the filter to narrow down to the list of customers, then click the “Export to Newsletter List” button.
Customer Accounts (Other)
The last report we will cover is the Customer Accounts report. This is found in the Other Reports tab.
This report is useful for retrieving a list of all your customers. It also allows you to filter and sort the list. Some basic filters are available at the top of the report, and you can go further with some proficiency with Excel.
