In order to organize your inventory based on storage locations, you need to create an inventory warehouse. This is done in OrderPort Admin.
Navigating to the Module
The Wine Clubs module is in OrderPort Admin. Go to orderport.net to login.
Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard page, and you will find the Services option. Click the second option.
You can also hover over the three lines toward the top right of the dashboard page.
The Wine Clubs module is under the Services column.
Creating a Warehouse
Create a new warehouse location by clicking Add New.
There are two required fields:
- Name: The name of the inventory location.
- Bond: If you have a bond for the inventory location, put it here. Otherwise, use the name of your winery.
The rest of the options are optional. If you want to add a new tasting room or a restaurant, contact OrderPort. This may result in an additional charge.
The optional numebrs such as the State ABC are all for compliance and record keeping.
An address and contact also needs to be added for tax rates and shipping prices.
Save the changes when finished.
